Vans World is a collaboration between Roblox and Vans to promote the Vans’ brand onto Roblox through an Experience. Unlike the Lil Nas X Concert Experience which can no longer be accessed as the event has concluded, Vans World is a permanent addition to the list of Experiences Roblox has to offer. This Experience offers regular updates, featuring more content, more events, and more cosmetics.

Like the majority of Experiences available on Roblox, players can access this Experience for free, but there are also optional event-themed cosmetics up for grabs that can be purchased with Robux. The full list of event-themed items can be found here.

Vans World was initially released to certain Star Creators to beta test the Experience, then was released to the public on September 1, 2021.

Customization

Vans World is open to a ton of customization, including two key items that are not only part of the Experience’s cosmetics, but also are the very things that are especially tied with the Vans brand.

The first unique customization is the skateboard, a key mechanic of the game. Players can choose to customize different aspects of their skateboard, such as the Deck Motives, Grip Tape, Grip Border, and Wheels.

The second unique customization is the shoes. Players can purchase pre-designed shoe cosmetics in the shop for in-game currency (not Robux) for their avatar. There is also an option to purchase a shoe where the player can create their own design of shoes with the many customization options available.

Skating Game

Vans World is a skating game where players can do skate tricks around the map. The Experience is one big skate park with tons of areas to explore.

There are also competitive aspects in the game where players can matchmake with others to do various minigames, such as racing from point to point and freestyling to get as many points as possible.

Events

Time-limited events usually take place in Vans World, where players can do limited-time challenges during the event period. These events usually unlock cosmetics that can only be claimed during events.
