CHUCKIE Snack N’ Play

CHUCKIE: Snack N’ Play is an AR Edutainment Facebook and Instagram filter launched by the Chuckie brand.

The project was made with the COVID-19 pandemic in mind. Because of the pandemic restricting students to do online classes instead of in-person schooling, kids aren’t able to play during their recess time and bring along their favorite baon drink, Chuckie. The pandemic restrictions have also made moms worried about the potential lack of interactions of kids with friends, which can impact their development.

With these in mind, Chuckie has used this opportunity to launch CHUCKIE Snack N’ Play, which is a collection of three gamified AR filters:

Chuckie has also used product tracking technology where customers can scan physical Chuckie products to unlock the gamified filters.

While the game is played solo, it is also treated as a social competitive game where kids can compete against their friends in achieving the highest score possible. Every week, the top scorers are recognized and rewarded with various prizes.

This project has made Chuckie’s sales grow by 14% versus pre-campaign, and even 32% higher than the previous quarter. Market share reached a record-breaking 78.6%.
